Create your own ceramic Copalero with ceramic artist Taty Hernández. You won’t want to miss this fun and intentional workshop!
Get your hands muddy as you mold and shape the earth into a beautiful clay piece for your altar. This in-person event is a great opportunity to unleash your creativity and make something truly unique!
Taty is a queer Zapotec artist whose workshops emphasize Indigenous knowledge, futurism, and clay technologies. They live between Los Angeles and Oaxaca and this will be their first San Diego workshop!
All materials provided, including 2 firings and glazes.
All pieces will be shipped out after 4-6 weeks.

Clay has a mind and memory of its own and results may vary! There may be variations in glaze color, cracks, other (lovely) imperfections are possible.
